We would like to extend a hearty congratulations to the University of Indianapolis for being named a Scholarship in STEM (S-STEM) grant recipient from the National Science Foundation!
BRI's own Stephanie Barrett was the writer on this proposal, with McAllister & Quinn associates acting as reviewers and editors. Funds from the $1,992,680 award will go towards the University of Indianapolis's efforts to retain high-achieving, low-income students pursuing a degree in mathematics or engineering. A cohort of 18 students at the university will receive scholarships for up to five years while also receiving faculty and peer mentoring, community-building cohort activities, targeted academic support, and comprehensive career development.
Congratulations again to the University of Indianapolis! BRI is proud to be part of your efforts to establish the next generation of scientists, mathematicians, engineers, technicians, and STEM workers!
