BRI is proud to announce its expansion into a new grant mechanism through three evaluations for the Health Resources and Service Administration’s Behavioral Health Workforce Education and Training Program for Professionals (HRSA BHWET).

BHWETs are impactful four-year programs designed to increase the number and accessibility of behavioral health professionals who specialize in children, adolescents, and young adults who are at risk for mental health, trauma, and behavioral health disorders. A key focus is on supporting programs that utilize an interprofessional team-based model of care, integrating behavioral health training and support directly into primary care settings. This approach aims to bring crucial services to high-need and high-demand communities.

The evaluation of these programs will involve complex data collection, analysis, and tracking dynamic and multilayered objectives. To ensure the successful development of data collection tools and management of program timelines, Stephanie Barrett, our Director of Grants and Project Management, will be collaborating closely with the lead evaluators on these projects.
