The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is announcing a new grant program that seeks to integrate humanities into every course of study at 2 and 4 year institutions. They seek creative proposals to develop a minimum of 3 courses that foster a collaboration with the humanities in college students across a wide spectrum of interests. Classes can be developed for general education curriculum, or they may be designed specifically for a particular course of study. They require involvement from a minimum of 2 separate departments or schools from each institution, and ask that schools utilize local community organizations and cultural institutions to reach their goals.
The deadline for proposals is October 5, 2016. You can read the
full details about the grant program here.
