NSF NanoTech Design Contest for High School Students

The National Science Foundation (NSF) unveils a design contest for High School Students called "Generation Nano: Small Science, Superheroes."  The contest asks students to create a written essay, a 2-3 page comic strip, and a 90-second video to illustrate how to utilize nanotechnology to solve a societal issue.  The NSF provides reading and resources for students to draw inspiration, and asks students to dream of innovative ways to utilize emerging technology. Winners are eligible for a cash prize of $750 up to $1500 for the first place winner. Submissions are due by January 31, 2017.
