The New York Life Foundation invests in middle school out–of–school time (OST) programs to help economically disadvantaged eighth graders enter ninth grade on time. The Foundation is seeking applicants for its Aim High grants to support afterschool, summer, or expanded learning programs serving middle schoolers. Aim High will provide $2.25M over three years to programs serving disadvantaged youth.  This grant is being offered in conjunction with the Afterschool Alliance, a leading advocate for afterschool programs.  The Alliance works with government officials across local, state, and national levels in order to improve access to affordable, high–quality afterschool programs.

3 grant categories are available, $100,000 over two years, $50,000 over two years, and a $15,000 one-year grant.  A websinar will be offered in January.  Deadlines are looming, so please be aware of deadlines.
