Grants to Reduce Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking on Campus

Grant Opportunity: 

As part of the U.S. Department of Justice, the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) is currently accepting proposals for their Grants to Reduce Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, and Stalking on Campus Program (Campus Program). 

The Campus Program  encourages a comprehensive and coordinated community approach that enhances victim safety, provides services and support for victims, and supports efforts to hold offenders accountable. The funding will also support activities that develop and strengthen trauma-informed victim services, as well as strategies to prevent, investigate, and respond to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking on campus.

Eligibility: Institutions of higher education, including tribal colleges and universities and historically black colleges and universities, are eligible to apply. Applicants may apply as an individual institution or as a consortium. 

Institutions that have received grants from this program for the fiscal year 2017 and 2018 are not eligible to apply. 

Grant Period: The grant period for this program is three years. 

Grant Amount: Awards range from $300,000 and $750,000.
