Advantage After School Program Now Accepting Proposals

Grant Opportunity: The New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) is accepting proposals for their Advantage After School Program (AASP) grants. This program funds the development of after-school programs that provide educational, recreational, cultural, and age-appropriate activities for youth, 

Afterschool programs must be developed and operated in partnership with local schools or school districts. OCFS is particularly interested in proposals that involve both youth and family in the program planning process and implementation.

Eligibility: Non-profit community-based organizations are eligible to apply. 

Grant Period: The grant period for the Advantage After School Program is five years with contracts starting September 9, 2019, and ending August 31, 2024. 

Grant Amount: Individual awards range from $80,000 to $200,000
