Grant Opportunity: The American Legion Child Welfare Foundation is now accepting proposals for their Foundation grant program. These grants support projects that fulfill the following foundation missions:
- Contribute to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual welfare of children through the dissemination of knowledge about new and innovative organizations and/or their programs designed to benefit youth; and
- Contribute to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual welfare of children through the dissemination of knowledge already possessed by well-established organizations, to the end that such information can be more adequately used by society.
Projects must directly benefit children in the United States.
Eligibility: Nonprofit 501c(3) organizations are eligible to apply.
Grant Period: Awards have a grant period of one year with projects to be completed between January 1 - December 31 of the award year.
