Teachers Share Their Stories: NYSED

May 04, 2020 at 07:15 am by Unknown

Even in these uncertain times teachers across New York State and beyond are coming together to support their students and each other with distance learning. New York’s Department of Education (NYSED) is encouraging teachers and other educators to share their stories on their website.

This central resource is a way for educators to stay connected with each other and share their experiences about how they have risen to the challenge of teaching during the PAUSE period in the state. Stories can take the form of a written account, a personal video, or a picture slideshow. Suggested topics include creative ways to reach students across the digital divide, collaborations with BOCES and other professional organizations, social emotional supports, among others.
