Grant Opportunity: The Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation will provide 40 grants to programs in New York State and Florida designed to encourage the creativity and craft of young girls and women as writers. The goals of the New ERA Women Writers Program is to support women and girls “with the knowledge and skills to express [themselves] through the art of writing and to encourage higher levels of training designed to assist . . . in delivering clear and persuasive arguments for change and equality.” New and current programs offered by nonprofit organizations in New York and Florida are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility: Applicants must be registered as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations with the IRS
Grant Amount: up to $25,000
Grant Period: 12 months, a final report will be due at the end of the grant period
