Grant Opportunity: The Inclusion across the Nation of Communities of Learners of Underrepresented Discoverers in Engineering and Science from the National Science Foundation (NSF INCLUDES) provides funding for colleges and universities to develop collaborative infrastructures with the goal of broadening student participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
NSF INCLUDES Planning Grants are designed to build community capacity to begin activities required to establish institutional alliances and other large-scale networks to diversity the future STEM workforce. Institutions are encouraged to develop mutually reinforcing STEM activities; develop goals, objectives, and measurement methods to track progress; and devise a sustainability plan.
Eligibility: IHEs (i.e. universities, four-year colleges, and/or two-year colleges)
Grant Amount: up to $100,000
Grant Period: 12 to 16 months
