The National Educational Technology Plan (NETP) is a guide for school districts across America to use in the development and implementation of distance-learning plans, and for teachers to integrate digital platforms into their teaching. The 2020 NEPT is currently in development and will be made available by the end of the year. "The 2020 NETP will incorporate new developments in education technology and share a vision for how schools and districts across the country can continue to use technology to improve equity and opportunity for all students. It will also address infrastructure needs in order for the vision to become a reality" according to information found on the Office of Educational Technology (OET) website.

With the lessons learned during the rapid transition to distance learning during the 2019-2020 school year, OET is seeking input and feedback from teachers across the country to ensure the next published report is as informative as possible. Of particular interest are the lesson learned during the rapid implementation of online learning and suggestions for tools to help in the future. Click here to provide your insight.
