Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest: Engaging Students in STEM

Grant Opportunity: Solve for Tomorrow is a nation-wide contest is funded by Samsung to boost interest and proficiency in STEM. The central objective of the contest is to challenge educators and students in grades 6-12 to show how STEM applications can help to improve their local community. Programs entered into the contest must clearly show how students are encouraged to give back to their community while sparking interest in STEM subjects in order to build critical thinking and leadership skills. Winning programs will receive technology and STEM subject materials for teachers.

Eligibility: Public, private, and charter schools across the United States are eligible to apply.

Grant Amount:  Awards take the form of technology to be used in the schools (computers, lab equipment, etc).

Important Dates: Teachers are invited to submit applications between August 29- October 27, 2020. Finalists will be invited to submit activity plans between November 14- December 4, 2020.
