Grant Opportunity: City National Bank’s Reading is the Way Up program provides funding for classroom materials and projects that will inspire creativity and build critical thinking skills in K-12 students. Teachers, school administrators, librarians, and other school community members may submit applications to purchase resources such as computer hardware/software, books, and audio-visual materials. Granted awards may also be used for school field-trips with clear classroom learning objectives articulated in the application.
Eligibility: School districts in select counties in states with City National Bank locations are eligible to submit applications. In New York State, schools in New York County (Manhattan) and Suffolk County (Long Island) are eligible for this program.
Grant Amount: up to $1,000
