Trauma Sensitive Education Webinar: Register Today

ASCD is hosting a half-day symposium on Wednesday, October 28 to help K-12 educators and administrators build a framework of trauma-sensitive instruction in their schools. In the era of COVID-19 distance-learning environments, its more critical than ever for educators to tap into the life experiences of students to instill and support coping skills and self-regulation resulting from isolation and anxiety.

Attendees will learn details about the impact trauma can have on students' learning and social-emotional well-being and discover new tips and tricks to cultivate trauma-sensitive environments unique to individual classrooms and distance-learning platforms. Organizers of the symposium will provide actionable insight about how inclusion of trauma-sensitive instruction will support resiliency in students and educators alike.
