Project TEACH: Increasing Access to Mental Health Services in NYS

Grant Opportunity: New York State's Office of Mental Health is providing funding to primary care providers throughout the state to provide mental health services to children and adolescents. Project TEACH (Training and Education for the Advancement of Children’s Health) is comprised of three services for primary care providers: access to child and adolescent psychiatric consultation, linkage with community-based services, and training. The program's goals are to increase access to behavioral health treatment by making child psychiatry services available to primary care providers and to enhance the ability to access care in historically underserved areas.

Applicants must demonstrate experience and expertise in each of the following areas:

Eligibility: Organizations with 501(c) (3) incorporation with a minimum of five years of experience in the field of child/adolescent mental health service delivery.

Grant Amount: Maximum funding for this 5-year grant program is $17,500,000. Funding will be awarded to a single applicant.
