Grant Opportunity: Enriching out-of-school time (OST) programs (afterschool and summer learning programs) are an effective means of helping middle school students successfully transition from middle school to high school.
The Aim High program from Afterschool Alliance seeks applications from out-of-school time programs for a competitive grant to support and bolster afterschool and summer learning programs in helping their middle school students make a successful transition to high school, particularly in the face of the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eligibility: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations (including community-based organizations), organizations serving students in grades 6 – 8, and organizations serving high percentages of low-income youth.
Grant Period & Grant Amount: Programs last one or two years; award amounts vary in size, $25,000 - $50,000 per year.
