Scholarships for STEM Students: Funding for Undergraduates from NSF

Grant Opportunity: The Scholarships for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM) program from National Science Foundation provides funding to institutions of higher education (IHEs) to establish and implement scholarship programs for economically disadvantaged students studying STEM subjects. Grant programs range between 3-6 years in duration with the goal of strengthening the country’s STEM workforce.

Eligibility: IHEs (i.e. universities, four-year colleges, and/or two-year colleges) and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations (including community-based organizations)

Grant Amount: Grant amounts vary by track, see RFP for details.

Important Dates: Wednesday, April 7, 2021: deadline for proposals.
