College Talent Search Program: Funding Available from the Department of Education

Grant Opportunity: The Talent Search Program identifies qualified individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds with potential for education at the postsecondary level and encourage them to complete secondary school and undertake postsecondary education. Program priorities include:

Talent Search projects publicize the availability of, and facilitate the application for, student financial assistance for persons who seek to pursue postsecondary education, and encourage persons who have not completed programs at the secondary or postsecondary level to enter or reenter and complete these programs.

Eligibility: IHEs (i.e. universities, four-year colleges, and/or two-year colleges) and 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations (including community-based organizations)

Grant Amount: Grant amounts vary by new and continuing programs, see RFP for details.

Important Dates: Friday, February 26, 2021: deadline for proposals.
