Apr 02, 2021 at 10:45 am by Unknown

Opportunity: The Two Year Institution Program provides funding for 2-year colleges to develop and implement projects that address the challenges faced by STEM programs and STEM instruction. Proposals that include disciplines that include areas of national priority such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, process engineering, and robotics are encouraged. Projects are expected to advance STEM education by developing seamless transfer and STEM career pathways, providing students with research and internships that offer real-world experiences, broadening and/or creating new STEM curricula. NSF is also interested in projects that include elements that mitigate the disproportionate impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on two-year colleges, promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM, and making systemic improvements in STEM education.

Eligibility: Two-year institutions of higher education
