Equipment Assistance Grant for School Food Authorities: National School Lunch Program

Opportunity: The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) invites proposals for schools to purchase necessary equipment to provide healthier meals to students, meet the preparation requirements for updated meal patterns, improve operational efficiency of school lunch service, improve food safety, and expand participation in the preparation of school meals.

Eligibility: All Recipient Agencies (RA) under a School Food Authority (SFA) participating in the NSLP in New York State are eligible (including public school districts, non-profit nonpublic schools, charter schools and residential childcare institutions). Priority will be given to RAs with 50 percent or more students eligible for free or reduced price meals.

Grant Award: Grant awards range between $1,000 - $20,000.

Proposals must be uploaded by 11.59 (ET) on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.
