(Brockport, New York, April 2021) – Brockport Research Institute, a leading certified woman-owned business based in Western New York providing educational services, grant writing and consultation services, today announced that it has been named the recipient of the 2021 ATHENA Organizational Award® by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and Women’s Council. This award was presented at the 35th Annual ATHENA International Awards ceremony on April 22, 2021.
The ATHENA International Awards is a leading awards program dedicated to honoring individuals and organizations that help build the next generation of women leaders. The program’s Organizational Award category celebrates organizations and businesses that are creating a culture where women can reach their full leadership potential and fostering women leadership opportunities both locally and nationally.
The Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce and Women’s Council praised Brockport Research Institute’s commitment to increasing professional opportunities for women experiencing career disruption, saying, “The corporate culture of positive, supportive development has shown the power of women helping one another succeed.”
