We would like to congratulate Simpson College and the University of Charleston for being named awarded U.S. Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women Campus Grants. Over the next three years, this $300,0000 award will support efforts at each institution to hire staff and create new programs aimed at preventing and addressing instances of sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking on college campuses. Some activities to be supported by the Campus Safety Grant include hiring a Title IX Coordinator specializing in helping students who facing issues related to sexual harassment and assault as well as developing and implementing a multidisciplinary prevention, education, and response program.

Congratulations again to Simpson College and the University of Charleston, as well as our grant writing teams at Brockport Research Institute and our partners at M&Q for this important award.
