Preserving New York Research Materials

Grant Opportunity: The NYS Discretionary Grant Program for the Conservation and Preservation of Library Research Materials provides funding for projects that preserve research materials in libraries, archives, historical societies, and other organizations.

Eligibility: Eligible applicants include agencies and libraries chartered by the Board of Regents, nonprofit libraries, archives, historical societies, other archival/historical organizations, or consortia of the above located within New York State. Nonprofit applicants must complete the steps for prequalification requirements prior to applying.

Grant Amount and Grant Period: Awards will range between $2,500 and $45,000 with a grant period of one year between July 1st, 2025 and June 30th, 2026.
