Grant opportunity: The National Science Foundation’s EPSCoR Research Infrastructure Improvement Program: EPSCoR Collaborations for Optimizing Research Ecosystems (E-CORE) program provides funding for partnerships among academic institutions, government entities, industry, and nonprofits that will foster long-term improvement to research infrastructure and enhance research and development capacity through targeted areas of focus.
Eligibility: Eligible organizations include institutions of higher education, Non-profit, non-degree-granting domestic U.S. organizations, units of state governments, and tribal governments.
Grant Amount and Grant Period: ECORE grants are a maximum of $10 million over a four year grant period. Depending on fund availability, applicants may also apply for an additional four-year renewal period with a grant amount of $8 million maximum.
