Grant opportunity: The Rochester Area Community Foundation is now accepting proposals for their Latino Giving Circle grant. This program provides funding for operational support and project support for organizations that address ongoing issues faced by the Latino/a/e/x community, particularly in the following fields:
- Justice & Equity: Strengthening community safety, supporting immigrant and Migrant populations.
- Community Leadership: Cultivating emerging leaders
- Education Excellence: Enhancing youth and adult academic achievement
- Economic Mobility: Creating pathways to financial stability
- Healthcare & Wellness: Advancing the well-being of Latino/a/e/x community members
- School Success: Providing student and family support
- Arts & Culture: Increasing access and promotion, fostering community engagement, cultural enrichment, capacity building support
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, 509(a)(1) public organizations or organizations with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor located in Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties.
Grant Amount: Grants will range between $1,000 to $5,000.
