Funding for Grassroots Action to Promote Social and Environmental Justice

Grant opportunity: The Ben & Jerry's Foundation is accepting proposals for its National Grant Program. This program provides funding for nonprofit organizations that utilize grassroots collective action to address social and environmental injustice in their community. Some examples of funded work include, but are not limited to, community outreach, empowering constituents, non-violent direct action, and coalition building.

Eligibility: Nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations based in the United States or U.S. territories with an annual budget of $350,000 or less are eligible to apply.  

Grant Amount and Grant Period: The maximum award is $30,000 per year over a two-year grant period for a total maximum award of $60,000. 

Application Deadline: Applications are recieved on a rolling basis.
