Grant opportunity: To encourage business investment and job creation throughout the state, the New York Global Entrepreneurs Program (NYGEP) will support the establishment or expansion of Global Entrepreneurs in Residence (“GEIR”) Programs at universities and colleges. These residency programs will provide part-time work opportunities, guidance, mentorship, and other support services to international entrepreneurs who commit to launching new business ventures within New York State.
Eligibility: Public and private institutions of higher education and affiliated nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply.
Grant Period: The maximum award is $1,500,000 with a grant period of four years.
