Funding for Education Research from the Spencer Foundation

Grant opportunity: The Spencer Foundation is now accepting proposals for its Small Research Grants on Education Program. This program provides funding for research in multiple disciplines focused on the most pressing questions in education. 

Eligibility: Principal investigators must be affiliated with a non-profit organization or public/governmental institution (such as a school district or institution of higher education) willing to serve as the administering organization.

Grant Amount and Grant Period: The maximum award is $50,000 with a grant period of one to five years. 

Deadline: April 15th, 2026
