Grant opportunity: The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is forecasted to open proposals for the Project AWARE (Advancing Wellness and Resiliency in Education) grant program. This program supports the development of sustainable infrastructure for school-based mental health programs through partnerships between state/ local educational agencies, community behavioral healthcare providers, community organizations, and relevant stakeholders.
Eligible Applicants: Eligible applicants include States and Territories or units thereof, Indian tribes, or tribal organizations, health facilities, and nonprofit organizations.
Grant Amount and Grant Period: The anticipated grant amount is $1,800,000 per year over a maximum five-year grant period.
