Seed Grants for Innovative Early Education Projects

Grant Opportunity: The Frances R. Dewing Foundation provides seed funding for innovative projects or programs that impact early childhood education up to sixth grade. The foundation is particularly interested in projects that could potentially impact the larger educational or local community. 
 
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and government entities (such as schools and school districts) that are based and operating in the United States. 
 
Grant Amount and Grant Period: Awards typically range from $1,000 to $25,000 with project periods typically being less than three years. 
 
Application Deadline: Proposals are due April 1st and October 1st annually.
