The National Science Foundation (NSF) is accepting proposals for their Biological Anthropology grant program for both general research and doctoral dissertation improvement (DDRIG). "Research areas supported by the program include, but are not limited to, human genetic variation, human and nonhuman primate ecology and adaptability, human osteology and bone biology, human and nonhuman primate paleontology, functional anatomy, and primate socioecology." They suggest that this grant program could be an opportunity to join together fields of social and behavioral science with the physical and natural sciences.
