African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund Now Accepting Applications

Grant Opportunity: Grants from the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund are designed to advance preservation efforts in historic sites that represent African American heritage. 

Grants are administered in four categories: 

Eligibility: Public agencies and nonprofit organizations that focus on African American cultural heritage as its main mission are eligible to apply. 

Grant Amount: Grants will range between $50,000 and $150,000. For more details, please visit the grant website. 

Grant Period: All grants will have a grant period of one year. Applicants may, however, request Organizational Capacity Building Grants for two years.
