We are excited to announce that our partner, Freedom Guide Dogs for the Blind has recently been awarded a $75,000 grant from the Mother Cabrini Health Foundation.

This grant will support Freedom Guide Dog's mission of providing guide dogs and training services for the blind and visually impaired at no cost to clients and their families located throughout New York State. Freedom Guide Dogs has been providing their services for over 27 years and have placed guide dogs with clients throughout the Eastern United States since their opening in 1992. They specialize in providing comprehensive training for those with disabilities and health conditions in addition to visual impairment as well as at home training for clients with travel limitations.

The Mother Cabrini Health Foundation, one of the largest foundations focusing on New York State, aims to improve the health and well-being of the state's residents, particularly those in vulnerable populations. The foundation provides grants to address unmet healthcare needs in communities and work and to eliminate gaps in healthcare services.

Freedom Guide Dogs for the Blind has been a BRI client since 2018, and this grant application was written by a team of Associates who provide grant prospecting, grant writing, and project management services.

Congratulations again to Freedom Guide Dogs for this win!
