New York State Integration Project- Professional Learning Community Funding Now Open

Grant Opportunity: The New York State Integration Project- Professional Learning Community (NYSIP-PLC) program is now accepting proposals for Phase III grant funding. NYSIP-PLC, administered by the New York State Education Department, provides funds to pre-identified local educational agencies for the promotion of staff understanding of the benefits of educational integration and creation of individualized district integration plans. Projects funded will support NYSIP-PLC's mission of increasing student achievement and encouraging greater integration by race and ethnicity, as well as socioeconomic, special education, and English language learner/Multilingual learner status. 

Eligibility: The New York State Education Department has compiled a list of eligible school districts based on participation in Phase II of NYSIP-PLC and designation as a Title I Focus District. For more information on eligibility requirements, please visit the request for proposals.

Eligible Focus Districts: 

Grant Amount: Applicants may request a maximum of $3,000,000 over the three year grant period. 

Grant Period: The grant period for awards is three years.
