Excluded Worker Fund Outreach and Assistance Grant for New York State Nonprofits

Grant Opportunity: The New York State Department of Labor is seeking nonprofit organizations located in New York State to serve as helpers within communities for their Excluded Worker Fund (EWF) initiative, a new program which offers financial relief to workers who have suffered income loss due to COVID but are ineligible for Unemployment Insurance or other federal benefits. The Excluded Worker Fund Outreach and Assistance Grant will fund applicant organizations to provide outreach and direct assistance for individuals applying to the EWF program as well as additional services such as financial literacy counseling.

Eligibility: New York State nonprofit organizations that provide direct services to populations to be served by the Excluded Worker Fund (as defined in the request for proposals here) are eligible to apply.

Grant Amount/ Grant Period: Awards will range between $50,000 and $300,000, and the grant period is one year.

Grant Deadline: June 25th, 2021
