Funding to Investigate Educational Models to Close the Education Gap

Grant Opportunity: In order to close the educational gap and increase academic achievement and college and career readiness among young men of color, the My Brother’s Keeper Exemplary School Models and Practices (ESMP) grant program will provide funding to projects that investigate models of educational outcomes for at-risk youth. There are two tracks for ESMP grants:
 
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include New York State public school districts that have demonstrated an ability to close the achievement gap between boys and young men of color and the overall rest of state populations. BOCES may only apply to Option 1 grants.
 
Grant Amount and Grant Period: will distribute up to $200,000 annually for the three-year grant period starting January 1, 2022.
 
Deadline: September 27, 2021
