NYSERDA Funding for Clean Energy Internships in New York State

Grant Opportunity: The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA)'s New York State Clean Energy Internship Program aims to develop the next generation of talented individuals in the clean energy industry by providing funding to support new internship placements across the state.
 
Eligibility: Private for-profit businesses, non-profits, local municipalities, and counties located in New York State in the following fields are eligible to apply:
Applicant organizations must have at least two full-time employees, unless they are minority-owned, women-owned, and/or service-disabled veteran owned businesses and New York City-certified Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprise businesses.
 
Grant Amount and Grant Period: The NYS Clean Energy Internship Internship Program will support up to 90% of an intern's wages for businesses and organizations with up to 100 employees and up to 75% for businesses and organizations with 101 employees or more. Funds will be distributed over a 12-month period.
 
Deadline: December 30, 2024
