Improving Health Information Literacy and Accessibility

Grant Opportunity: The Network of the National Library of Medicine's Health Information Outreach Award aims to improve public health by providing support for projects that 1.) improve health literacy and accessibility to health information among patients, family members, students and members of the public or 2.) improve accessibility and skills among health professionals when it comes to locating high-quality biomedical and health information. Projects should aim to create partnerships with community groups to reach underserved populations.
 
Eligibility: Institutions and organizations that are members of the Network of the National Library of Medicine and are located within the following regions are eligible to apply:
 
Grant Amount and Grant Period: Awards will be $200,000 with projects starting on December 1st, 2021 and ending April 30th, 2022.
 
Deadline: November 1st, 2021
