Promoting Training for International Business in Universities and Colleges

Grant Opportunity: The Department of Education's Office of Postsecondary Education is now accepting proposals for the Centers for International Business Education Program (CIBE). This grant provides funding for institutions of higher education for curriculum development, research, and training on issues of importance to international business and U.S. trade competitiveness. For the 2022 fiscal year, the CIBE program is seeking proposals that 1.) collaborate with professional organizations or businesses to expand employment opportunities for international students 2.) partner with minority-serving institutions or community colleges to incorporate international, intercultural, or global dimensions into their business curriculum and 3.) projects to promote language learning or performance testing and assessment to prepare the next generation of international business professionals to enter the workforce.
 
Eligibility: Institutions of higher education or consortiums thereof are eligible to apply.
 
Grant Amount and Grant Period: Awards will range between $265,000 to $305,000 per year over four years.
