NEH Funding for Institutes for Professional Development in the Humanities

Grant Opportunity: The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is now accepting proposals for their Institutes for K-12 Educators grant program. This program provides funding for organizations to develop and implement institutes of professional development for K-12 educators that deepen their understanding of humanities fields, foster new fields of study or revitalize existing areas of inquiry in the humanities, and build collaborative partnerships.
 
Grants are available in two categories.
 
Eligibility: U.S. nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations, public and nonprofit institutions of higher education, state and local governmental agencies, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments are eligible to apply.
 
Grant Amount and Grant Period: The maximum awarded for Institutes for K-12 Educators grants is $235,000 over 15 months for level I grants (Beginning October 1st, 2022 and ending December 31st, 2023) and 24 months for level II grants (Beginning October 1st, 2022 and ending September 30th, 2024.)
