Implementing Teen-Pregnancy and STI Prevention Programming in New York

Grant Opportunity: The New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH), Bureau of Perinatal Reproductive and Sexual Health (BPRASH)'s Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP) provides funding for New York State organizations to implement evidence-based programming for the prevention of teen pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).
 
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include New York State youth-serving organizations, such as city and county health departments, school districts, youth bureaus, and from not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organizations.
 
Grant Amount and Grant Period: Applicants from Downstate New York (Including Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Queens, Richmond, Suffolk, and Westchester counties) may apply for funding up to $350,000 annually. Applicants from Upstate New York can apply for funding up to $250,000 annually. The grant period is five years, with projects occurring between October 1, 2023, and September 30, 2028.
