New York State Regional Economic Development Council Initiative Now Accepting Proposals for 13th Round

Grant Opportunity: As part of the Empire State Development, the New York State Regional Economic Development Council Initiative is now accepting proposals for its 13th round of funding. Grants will support a wide range of projects that will encourage economic and employment opportunities in New York State, particularly in state-priority fields.
 
Funding opportunities include the following grant programs:
 
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include, but are not limited to, for-profit businesses, not-for-profit organizations, business improvement districts, local development corporations, public benefit corporations, economic development organizations, research and academic institutions, incubators, technology parks, municipalities, counties, regional planning councils, tourist attractions, and community facilities.
 
Grant Amount: Award amounts will vary depending on the specific grant application; however, the minimum grant request amount typically ranges between $25,000 to $150,000.
 
Application Deadline: July 28th, 2023
