Supporting Research on Youth Disparities in the United States

Grant opportunity: The William T. Grant Foundation is now accepting proposals for their Research Grants on Reducing Inequality. This program provides funding for research studies that increase understanding of programs, policies, and practices to reduce inequality in academic, social, behavioral, or economic outcomes of youth in the United States.

Grants are accepted in the following categories:

Eligibility: Tax-exempt organizations are eligible to apply. The foundation especially encourages applications from institutions serving historically underrepresented communities such as Historically-black colleges, Hispanic-serving institutions, or Native American-serving institutions.

Grant Amount and Grant Period: Officers’ Research Grants will range between $25,000 and $50,000 with a grant period ranging between one and two years. Major Research Grants will range between $100,000 and $600,000 with a grant period ranging between two and three months.
