We are excited to share that two awards from the Rochester Area Community Foundation (RACF) will soon support artwork restoration efforts for a historical resource right in our own community.
   Brockport Research Institute recently wrote and submitted proposals on behalf of the Morgan-Manning House Museum for the Historic Preservation and Edmunds Memorial Fund grants distributed by RACF. Both grant programs aim to bolster the cultural assets of the local Finger Lakes region. $19,809 from the Historic Preservation grant and $5,000 from the Edumunds Memorial Fund will go towards rebuilding and restoring artwork from the Morgan-Manning House after a devastating fire in January 2025.
