We are excited to share that our friends at the Morgan-Manning House were recently named to the Landmark Society of Western New York's 2026 Five to Revive list. This recognition highlights vital historic sites in Western New York in need of investment and advocacy. As part of this honor, the Morgan-Manning House will be listed as a priority project for the Landmark Society of Western New York.
This recognition comes on the heels of a 2025 fire that caused significant damage to the house. Brockport Research Institute is proud to be part of the Morgan-Manning Houses' continued efforts to rebuild for this important landmark in our community, most recently through writing support for two successful grant applications last Fall.
A bonus: BRI Director of Grants Stephanie Barrett joined the Morgan-Manning House team for the Landmark Society's news conference on February 26th.
