Congratulations to Tomkins-Seneca-Tioga BOCES  and Genesee Valley Educational Partnership (BOCES)! Each were awarded a Career Credentials and Occupational Studies (CDOS)  grant from the New York State Department of Education. Brockport Research Institute was proud to be a part of the grant application process for these BOCES programs. Grant funds will help both organizations and their school districts enhance their instructional programs so that students with disabilities will have "increased access to and participation in career and technical education (CTE) coursework, instruction in the Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) learning standards, and work-based learning opportunities to fulfill requirements for the award of the NYS CDOS Commencement Credential." Programs and professional development funded by these grants will also offer these students greater access to academic and social supports.
