Congratulations to the South Seneca and the Dalton-Nunda Elementary (Keshequa) School Districts! Both schools were awarded grants to fund expanded pre-kindergarten programs after Brockport Research Institute assisted them in their applications. This New York State Department of Education grant will allow both schools, “to establish new full-day prekindergarten placements, convert existing half-day placements to full-day, or create new half-day placements for three- and/or four-year old students.” The initial funding period is from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016.
