Congratulations to the Geneva, Sodus, Newark, Dundee and Batavia School Districts for receiving Math Science Partnership Grants (MSP)! The MSP program is a competitive grant program intended to increase academic achievement of students in math and science by supporting and enhancing the content knowledge and instructional practices for teachers. Partnerships between high-need school districts and the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) departments in institutions of higher education (IHE) are at the core of an innovative comprehensive systems approach to improve efforts for teaching and learning in mathematics and science.
Geneva, Sodus, Newark and Dundee are all working with the University of Rochester as their IHE partner, while Batavia is working with SUNY Brockport. BRI is proud to partner with these districts as the External Evaluator, and also provided grant writing services to the Sodus and Batavia grants.
