Grant Opportunity: The National Endowment for the Humanities is seeking project proposals for their Digital Humanities Advancement Grants (DHAG) program to support digital humanities projects at all stages of their lifecycle. The DHAG program focuses on projects that can scale to advance research, education, and public programming of the humanities.
In addition, the Institute of Museum and Library Services anticipates providing additional funding for collaborations between museum or library professionals and humanities professionals to advance digital collections preservation and accessibility.
Eligibility: U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, state and local government agencies, Native American tribal governments, and institutes of higher education are eligible to apply.
Grant Period: Level I and Level II awards have a maximum grant period of 24 months. Level III awards have a maximum grant period of 36 months.
Grant Amount: Level I awards range between $10,000 and $50,000. Level II grants range between $50,001 and $100,000. Level III grants range from $100,001 and $325,000. In addition, Level III grants may apply for an additional $50,000 in federal matching funds.
